Cole Isaacs giving a thumbs up beside his truck and flatbed trailer

Cole Isaacs — Owner & Operator

Built on a simple idea: do what you said you'd do.

I run CDI Service Now as an owner-operated hot shot freight company — though "founded" undersells it a little. I grew up fast. I tested out of school young and went to work full time at fifteen alongside my brother Dayton at Newport Leasing Group, where I still work today — trailer setup, maintenance, welding, and service. By eighteen, I had my own LLC and my name on the door.

Those years around trailers taught me the same lesson over and over: good freight sits still while big carriers work it into their schedule. Hot shot hauling flips that around. Your load is the only load. It gets picked up when you need it picked up, and it goes straight to where it needs to be — whether that's a job site across town or a delivery across the state line.

Because every job is different, I don't publish flat rates. I bid each haul case-by-case based on the load, the miles, and the clock — so you get a fair price for the job you actually need done, and a straight answer before the truck ever rolls.

Life off the clock

From the starting gate to the open road

My girlfriend Rylee and I have been together six years. We met on the BMX national circuit — both of us raced from the time we were five or six years old until we were nineteen or twenty, chasing gates and podiums at tracks across the country.

These days Rylee calls Minnesota home too, and at nineteen the two of us bought our first house together in Annandale. Old souls, friends call us — we work as well together off the track as we ever did on it, with our puppy Marlin rounding out the crew.

The discipline that wins races is the same discipline that runs CDI: show up prepared, go when the gate drops, and finish what you start.
